Heat Pump Installation & Repair
Do you have a Heat Pump? Is it an Air Sourced Heat Pump? Where is the Outdoor Unit? Where does the Heat go? Where does it come from?
The two most common Fluids, that can give Heat to the Refrigerant being Circulated through the Heat Exchangers involved in the heating process for a Heat Pump Are : Water or Air.
Air Sourced Heat Pumps are quite Common in many Circumstance, it can be noticeable because there is a common design where there is a Component of the System Outside Equipped with a Fan, with Pipes that go indoors to one or more Air Handlers, also equipped with a Fan, to utilize Air as the medium to pass Heat into the Refrigerant inside the Piping.
Water Sourced Heat Pumps may be easier to overlook, because its easier to hide them away in Tall Buildings, there is no need for a Fan outside, because the Heat Exchanger Design is Different for half of the System, it can be a Tube within a Tube Piping, that the Heat will come from a Water Loop that is installed throughout such a Building.
There are many Types of HVAC in the Residential or Commercial Environments, in various parts of the world depending on the Climate Zone, and Area of Installation.
